Practically all of these songs were written with a specific emotion behind them. That being said, I realize that we all experience emotions in our own way and no two people are the same. Taking those factors into account, I give you full artistic license to play these selections however you see fit. You may notice that some of them have strict tempos with specific alterations and so on...musical direction for others is slim to none. I didn't write any of these songs with a strict musicality in mind, it's all about personal "interpretation". You may play any one of these compositions completely different than I would...so what! You're an entirely different person than I am, with starkly different life experiences; let that feed into how you play...at least as far as this book is concerned.

I sat down at my keyboard one day and it all started with simple minor seconds and turned into a bit of a theme song for a spooky roller coaster ride...or at least that's what I think of when I play it.
