Student Piccolo Rental Program

The piccolo is one of the most distinctive and brilliant instruments in the band, known for its soaring high notes and sparkling melodic lines. As the highest voice of the woodwind section, piccolos add brilliance and excitement that make performances truly memorable. Our student piccolos from Conn-Selmer, Yamaha, and Jupiter are designed with proper intonation and responsive key action to help beginning musicians develop good technique and enjoy making music from their very first notes.

Premium Conn-Selmer, Yamaha, and Jupiter piccolos available for rent - the same quality instruments recommended by music educators throughout Southeast Idaho. Perfect for beginning through advanced students in school band programs.

What's Included in Your Monthly Rental:

Rental Terms:

  • Monthly Rate: Starting at $54.99/month - price includes maintenance and sales tax - due at the first of the following month
  • Setup Fee: $45 (one-time, includes professional setup) - due today
  • Minimum Term: 3 month obligation, then month-to-month
  • Rent-to-Own: Full-ownership after 36 months rental
  • Early-Pay Discount: Pay off your instrument early anytime with a 15% discount on the payoff balance

Rental Agreement Terms

Payment Terms

Late Fees: If any part of a monthly rental fee is more than ten (10) days late, a fee of $5.00 will be charged for each late payment.

Returned Checks: A $20 service charge applies to all returned checks.

Insurance & Maintenance Coverage

Piano Gallery will repair problems that affect the performance of the instrument, including accidental damage. This does not include cosmetic damage such as scratches, blemishes, minor dents, and discoloration. It is the student's responsibility to clean their instrument.

Instrument Abuse: If Piano Gallery determines that an insturment has been damaged due to neglect or intentional abuse, customer agrees to pay the cost of repair. Piano Gallery reserves the right to cancel the Rental Agreement with any customer due to instrument abuse. 

THEFT PROTECTION: If the instrument is stolen, Piano Gallery will replace it with one of comparable value if you are current on rental fees, file a police report within 48 hours, and provide a copy to Piano Gallery within 7 days.

Ownership & Usage

Title Retained: All title to the instrument remains with Piano Gallery. The instrument may not be sold, mortgaged, pawned, pledged, or removed from the address listed in the rental agreement.

Return Requirement: The instrument must be returned within ten (10) days after termination of the rental agreement. Failure to return may constitute theft under Idaho law.

Purchase & Trade Options

Early Pay: At any point during the rental you can elect to pay off the instrument with a 15% discount on the remaining balance. 

Trade Up: Prior to paying off the instrument, Piano Gallery will credit fifty percent (50%) of your principal payments toward the rental purchase price of another rental instrument, or one hundred percent (100%) toward an intermediate instrument of the same type rented.

Instrument Change-up: Prior to paying off the instrument, Piano Gallery will credit fifty percent (50%) of your principal payments toward the purchase of another instrument type of equal or greater value to the rental instrument. 

Default & Collection

If you default on any obligations, Piano Gallery may terminate the agreement, making all remaining fees immediately due. You will pay all costs and expenses incurred in collecting fees and/or repossessing the instrument, plus 18% annual interest.
