For the student: This material is part of the worldwide Suzuki Method of teaching. Companion recordings should be used with these publications. In addition, there are guitar accompaniment books that go along with this material.

For the teacher: In order to be an effective Suzuki teacher, a great deal of ongoing education is required. Your national Suzuki association provides this for it's membership. Teachers are encouraged to become members of their national Suzuki associations and maintain a teacher training schedule, in order to remain current, via institutes, short-term programs and long-term programs. You are also encouraged to join the International Suzuki Association.

The Suzuki Method® of Talent Education is based on Dr. Shinichi Suzuki's view that every child is born with ability, and that people are the product of their environment. According to Dr. Suzuki, a world-renowned violinist and teacher, the greatest joy an adult can know comes from developing a child's potential so he/she can express all that is harmonious and best in human beings. Students are taught using the "mother-tongue" approach. Now available as Book & CD kit. Titles: Long, Long, Ago (T. H. Bayly) * Allegro (S. Suzuki) * A Toye (Anon.) * Andante (M.
