Yamaha SL-SULLIVAN-L Peter Sullivan Signature Trombone Mouthpiece
Item Description and Specs:
Yamaha artist Peter Sullivan has developed a mouthpiece in collaboration with the R&D department at Yamaha. The MP SL Sullivan S from the Signature series produces a rich, powerful orchestral sound, and with its relatively large cup and rim and rim contour, you can reach a big, comfortable fortissimo. On the same token, the MP SL Sullivan S offers excellent control for delicate passages.
The Canadian Peter Sullivan is one of the leading trombone players in North America. During his career, Sullivan has been the first chair of the Montreal Symphony Orchestra and the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, and he's played in a number of regional orchestras. Besides his work as a teacher, Sullivan can be regularly heard in symphonies and orchestras from Montreal, Pittsburgh and Toronto. He plays a Xeno Orchestral trombone that he actually developed in collaboration with Yamaha, as a Yamaha artist.
