Bösendorfer Ultimate Design Porsche — Available to Order
F.A. Porsche, the design studio behind some of the most recognizable industrial design of the last half century, approached the Bösendorfer grand the same way they approach everything: nothing that doesn't need to be there, and everything that does executed to the highest possible standard. The lid is lightweight honeycomb high-tech material, integrated seamlessly into the outer silhouette of the piano and opened with a single gentle push via gas-pressured spring. The music desk disappears into the body of the instrument, framed by aluminium sound release elements. The standard finish is metallic diamond-black. A blue metallic polish is also available. The result is a grand piano that looks like it was designed by the same mind that shaped the object parked next to it.
Acoustically it is a full Bösendorfer with complete Resonance Case construction and Bösendorfer's own specification action. The design is F.A. Porsche's. The sound is entirely Bösendorfer's.
