Bösendorfer Ultimate Design Liszt — Available to Order
In 1828, the young Franz Liszt was destroying pianos. His playing was so physically powerful that instruments simply failed under it, and in a Vienna with nearly 150 piano builders competing for attention, none of them could keep up with him. A friend suggested he try a Bösendorfer. It held. Bösendorfer became famous overnight, and a friendship began that would last decades and produce more than 40 letters and telegrams between Liszt and the company. He owned several Bösendorfer grands. He wrote that the perfection of a Bösendorfer exceeded his wildest expectations.
The Liszt grand is a tribute to that relationship, finished in precious Vavona veneer — a richly figured wood with a warmth that suits the Romantic spirit of the instrument's namesake. It carries the full Bösendorfer acoustic construction and is available across the complete model range from the 170VC through the 290 Imperial. For the pianist who plays without limits, it is the appropriate instrument.
Selected veneers and finishes can be individually customized at the time of order. Contact us to discuss options and begin the ordering process.
